God’s Salvation for You
2 Peter 3:9. The Lord does not wish any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
Philippians 2:12. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Hebrews 11:6. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Romans 10:14-17. You cannot have faith unless you hear the word of Christ and believe it.
2 Corinthians 7:9-10. Repentance leads to salvation. (To “repent” means to “turn away”; here, to turn away from a habit of sinning.)
Romans 10:9-11. If you confess that Jesus is Lord, believing that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
1 Peter 3:21. Baptism saves you — an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Christ.
Romans 6:3-7. If you are buried with Christ through baptism, you become united with Him to walk in newness of life.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2. The gospel saves you, if you hold fast to the word preached to you.
Ephesians 2:8-9. You are saved by grace, through (your) faith … not by your works, so that no one may boast. But …
James 2:14-26. Faith cannot save you unless it is an active faith, demonstrated by works; faith without works is dead.
1 John 1:7. If you walk in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all sin.
1 John 2:17. If you do the will of God, you abide forever.
1 Corinthians 10:13. God will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able.
